My family and I have always enjoyed water sports and hanging out on the lake. I started wake surfing when I was 13 years old and spent the next couple of summers competing in some local events just for fun. By 2018 I started taking it a little more seriously and finished the season in amateur with 2nd place at Nationals in Texas. In 2019, I moved up to the Outlaw division, competed around the country, and qualified for The World Wakesurf Championships where I won first place, beating my nearest competitor by nearly 30 points! I am very proud of my success this 2020 season. I launched my signature wakesurf board with Kanuk Board Co and got 1st place at nine different competitions. This allowed me to qualify for the World Wakesurf Championship where I was crowned the world champ in the mens pro skim division! I have a new surf board design coming out for 2021 and I am stoked for the next season!
When I'm not surfing on Lake Minnetonka, Lake Minnewashta, Gull Lake or Cross Lake, you can find me, snowboarding at Hyland Hills or at Chanhassen High school!
